Aurélien, a distinguished luxury clothing brand celebrated for its timeless Mediterranean style and artisanal craftsmanship, is seeking a creative and talented Designer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in the designing, sampling and development of clothing and footwear, shaping seasonal collections, and expanding our product offerings into new categories—all aligned with the seasonal fashion calendar and our Brand DNA. 

You will be working alongside our creative director/co-founder. In sync with the brand’s creative direction, you will be responsible for the collection development under supervision of our creative director. 

Key responsibilities:

Designing, Sampling and Development:

• Lead the design, sampling and development process for clothing and footwear, ensuring innovative design concepts and the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Seasonal Collection Design:

• Conceptualize and design captivating seasonal Ready-to-Wear collections that embody the essence of timeless Mediterranean style.
• Conceptualize and design seasonal product specials, regional product specials and limited edition items.

Product Expansion:

• Drive the design of products in new categories, exploring innovative ideas while staying true to the brand's identity.

Calendar Adherence:

• Work within the seasonal fashion calendar, meeting deadlines for design milestones and production schedules.

Visual Merchandising:

• Collaborate on styling store windows and curating collection presentations in pop-up stores and department stores to enhance the brand's visual identity.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Designer in the luxury fashion sector, with a focus on both clothing and footwear.
• A portfolio showcasing a strong emphasis on timeless design, innovative concepts, and successful product launches.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in design software and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, creative environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Pattern-Making Skills will be considered a valuable bonus (not required).
