Aurélien defines Smart Luxury — a philosophy rooted in Mediterranean ease, artisanal craftsmanship, and timeless sophistication. Each collection embodies refinement through simplicity, crafted from the finest natural materials and produced by skilled artisans in Italy and beyond. After establishing our flagship in Amsterdam and pop-ups across Europe, Aurélien will open its London flagship in early 2026. We are seeking an accomplished Store Manager to lead this opening — bringing the Maison’s spirit of excellence to life in Knightsbridge.
The Role
As Store Manager, you are the ambassador of the Maison and guardian of its values. You lead with purpose and clarity — combining commercial expertise with emotional intelligence. Your mission is to create a refined environment that inspires both clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team aligned with Aurélien’s values. Conduct regular coaching to enhance clienteling, styling, and service excellence.
- Client Experience & Relationship Building: Foster deep, lasting relationships with key clients and VIPs. Set the tone for personalised, story-driven service in every interaction.
- Business Performance: Drive sales and profitability through strategic KPI management and data insight. Analyse performance trends and share regular reports with HQ.
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of store operations: stock control, deliveries and compliance. Maintain pristine visual standards in line with Aurélien’s understated aesthetic.
- CRM & Client Portfolio Management: Oversee CRM strategy and encourage your team to build meaningful client portfolios. Personally maintain and grow your own network of loyal clients.
- Event & Community Engagement: Organise in-store events, private appointments, and local partnerships that elevate brand visibility and client loyalty.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail, including management responsibility • Proven track record in leading, motivating, and developing teams
- Existing portfolio of loyal clients is a strong advantage
- Deep understanding of clienteling and personalised service
- Fluent in English; Arabic or Mandarin is a plus
- Confident, polished, and emotionally intelligent communicator

If you have slightly less experience but a strong motivation and leadership drive, we welcome a motivation letter explaining why you would be an ideal fit for this role.
